By combining large digital surfaces with mobile interaction, we built a modern tip walk - an engaging tech solution that brought classic fairy tales to life in real time.
How we brought the Paralympics to life at Stockholm Central
During the 2026 Paralympics, the Swedish Paralympic Committee, together with Ocean Outdoor Sweden, transformed Stockholm Central Station into a vibrant meeting place for sports enthusiasts. Amidst the intense commuter context, the organizers built a large stage equipped with a large digital LED screen.
This type of public environment places extreme demands on technical stability and flexibility. The organizer wanted to broadcast live from the competitions, present up-to-date schedules of the “Swedes of Today” and change visual material in an instant. To solve this challenge, we developed a customized solution that gives event staff complete control over the city room screen in real time.
The solution: Tailored real-time control for the event space
We at Quality Think created an innovative, web-based Laravel application that controlled and synchronized video content, images and live streams on screen in real time. Through a control panel, a single operator directed the entire visual flow of the station without the screen ever having to reload the page.
The system handled three media types seamlessly:

Live streaming of the Paralympic Games.

Dynamic video playlists that showed highlights and replays.

Static graphics used for background images.
Scheduling and direct control
In addition to direct, manual control, the application offered an advanced scheduling function. The operator easily prepared broadcasts and other content in a smart queue function, automating the operational flow during intense race days. Lightning-fast WebSocket technology updated the screen instantly with every keystroke, so new content was instantly reflected.
A successful digital championship
Our digital delivery transformed Stockholm Central Station into an interactive sports arena where thousands of commuters followed the Swedish success in the 2026 Paralympics on a daily basis. The system solved a classic event problem by keeping the screen alive and responsive without manual hand application on site.
