Alcro – Interactive DOOH campaign with real-time data
The challenge
Alcro, a prominent player in the paint industry, faced a challenge: how to innovatively inspire people to choose paint for their homes? Traditional swatches and color charts, while useful, often lack the immediacy and inspiration needed to really grab customers’ attention. The challenge was to find a method that not only conveys color nuances, but also evokes emotion and connects to customers’ everyday experiences.
The solution
Together with partners, we at Quality Think created a campaign that integrates the changing hues of the sky directly into customers’ everyday lives. Using smart technology and digital outdoor boards, we were able to scan the changing skies in real time and display them to passers-by. Each shade was accompanied by its NCS code, making it easy for people to apply them to their own walls. By connecting the natural beauty of the sky with Alcro’s products, we created a close connection that changed the way people interacted with color choices and offered a new dimension of color inspiration.
