ReGifted – Scalable platform for circular gift cards

The Challenge
In collaboration with a partner agency, we took on the task of developing a virtual campus for Högskolan Väst—a project that challenged us to think innovatively and utilize advanced technology. The goal was to create a digital platform that could offer a realistic and deeply engaging campus experience for students everywhere, regardless of geographical distance. The challenge lay in building a virtual world that not only recreated the visual feel of the physical campus but also seamlessly incorporated interactive learning and collaboration tools. The platform also needed to be extremely user-friendly and easy to navigate for both students and teachers, which required us to minimize the technical learning curve for users.
The Solution
Through close collaboration between our technical expertise and our partner agency’s design expertise, we developed a completely unique virtual campus for Högskolan Väst. This virtual campus utilizes groundbreaking 3D technology and a strictly user-centered design approach. We created a rich, interactive, and detailed digital environment that mirrors Högskolan Väst’s physical campus, including everything from digital classrooms and libraries to social spaces for group work and spontaneous meetings. To ensure the highest possible accessibility, we optimized the platform for a wide variety of devices and browsers. This guarantees a fast-loading and responsive experience for a broad audience, without requiring any external plugins or heavy software installations.
The result
The launch of the virtual campus has revolutionized the university’s distance learning and set a new standard in modern EdTech. By successfully integrating the advanced 3D environment with flexible collaboration tools, Högskolan Väst has created a digital platform that significantly increases student engagement, interaction, and a sense of community.
The result is a future-proof web solution that blurs the lines between physical and digital presence. The robust and scalable architecture now provides the university with a stable foundation to continue developing its innovative learning environments and meet the high demands of the future for flexible learning.
